Running around in my head
Its dancing and prancing
And longing to be read

It wants to have its own life
And not to be stuck inside
Its ready to set foot outside
And not to have to hide

It knows its only little
And not a work of art
But it really does feel ready
To play a bigger part

It doesnt need a starring role
On the literary page
Just a section of its own
To show its come of age

So here it is - the poem
Its bursting full of pride
It used to live inside my head
But now its got outside :)
